We had the opportunity to film Lauren & Bryan’s wedding in Monroe a few weeks ago, and we were blown away by the detail they put into the day. The event took place at Lauren’s grandparents’ house, which was an incredible backdrop for the ceremony. The reception was held in the backyard, with the dance floor on top of the swimming pool. That was definitely a first for us! Even with all of the preparation and effort that went into making the wedding beautiful, it all took a backseat to Lauren and Bryan as a couple. It is clear that they are in love, and hopefully it shows in their wedding video.

Allison & Noah | “Mardi Gras World Extravaganza”
October 25, 2011 // 1:07 pm
After a few phone conversations with Allison and Noah, we finally met face-to-face at Santa Fe on Esplanade in New Orleans to film their Our Story. The idea was to film them talking about themselves throughout dinner as the sun went down. We started talking and eating, and 2 hours later, we haven’t even gotten our cameras out of the car yet. Whoops! Luckily, Allison and Noah knew about this really cool park just down the road, so we filmed them there. It was pitch dark, but we were able to find the light switch for some overhead Christmas lights. After their interview we headed to the “cool” part of town, Frenchmen St., and we filmed a few B-Roll shots there.
Without further ado, here is Allison and Noah’s “Our Story”.
Fast forward a few weeks, and it’s wedding time. This was going to be our first wedding to film at Mardi Gras World, and we were pumped! They held the ceremony in a huge tent right on the Missisppi River, and the ceremony was in the “Mansion Room”. This place was like something out of Disney. The reception was simply amazing. Groovy7 rocked that place (like they do everywhere they go), and Allison and Noah’s Black Eyed Peas cover was good, but their surprise Double Dream Hands dance stole the night! A short clip of the dance is below the trailer.

Plantation Weddings in Louisiana
October 20, 2011 // 7:54 am
Some of our favorite wedding videos we’ve ever filmed have been plantation weddings in Louisiana. There is something about big oak trees, intimate outdoor ceremony, and striking architecture that energizes us creatively every time we film a plantation wedding. Here are a few recent wedding trailers from some of our favorite plantations.

Service Trip to Romania – We Need Your Help!
June 14, 2011 // 7:13 am
In 9 short days (June 23) we’re headed to Romania for three weeks to film a service project for US military students in Romania. The bad news is it looks like our travel costs are a little more than we originally planned. While 90% of our costs will be covered, we still need to raise about $600.
If you can, please consider making a secure online donation by clicking on the “Donate” button below.
Thank you in advance!! We’ll make sure to share our videos online to see the work being done in Romania.

Jessica & Lance | Lafayette Wedding Video
March 24, 2011 // 9:44 pm
Out of town weddings are special to us because we really get to know our couples well. Jessica and Lance are a perfect example of this, because not only did we get to spend their wedding with them, but also their rehearsal dinner and three days of shooting their “Our Story” video. Such an awesome couple, and a beautiful wedding!
