After a few phone conversations with Allison and Noah, we finally met face-to-face at Santa Fe on Esplanade in New Orleans to film their Our Story. The idea was to film them talking about themselves throughout dinner as the sun went down. We started talking and eating, and 2 hours later, we haven’t even gotten our cameras out of the car yet. Whoops! Luckily, Allison and Noah knew about this really cool park just down the road, so we filmed them there. It was pitch dark, but we were able to find the light switch for some overhead Christmas lights. After their interview we headed to the “cool” part of town, Frenchmen St., and we filmed a few B-Roll shots there.
Without further ado, here is Allison and Noah’s “Our Story”.
Fast forward a few weeks, and it’s wedding time. This was going to be our first wedding to film at Mardi Gras World, and we were pumped! They held the ceremony in a huge tent right on the Missisppi River, and the ceremony was in the “Mansion Room”. This place was like something out of Disney. The reception was simply amazing. Groovy7 rocked that place (like they do everywhere they go), and Allison and Noah’s Black Eyed Peas cover was good, but their surprise Double Dream Hands dance stole the night!
